The highly anticipated Jeep Wrangler facelift is set to hit Indian roads on April 22, 2024, boasting a refreshed design and enhanced features. With global introduction taking place a year ago, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting its arrival on Indian soil.
The exterior of the Wrangler facelift showcases striking updates, including an all-black grille with a sleeker rendition of the iconic seven-slat design. Offering versatility, it comes with a range of roof options, from standard soft tops to body-colored or black hard tops, catering to diverse preferences.
Inside, the Wrangler facelift impresses with a state-of-the-art 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered by Jeep's Uconnect 5 technology. This system introduces connected features like the Trails Offroad guide, enhancing the SUV's off-road capabilities with access to 62 renowned trails.
While the cabin layout remains largely unchanged, notable upgrades include repositioned AC vents and a new semi-digital instrument cluster, providing both functionality and style. Moreover, passengers can enjoy the convenience of 12-way power adjustable front seats and wireless connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the hood, the Wrangler facelift is expected to retain its robust 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, delivering 270hp and 400Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Its Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system ensures superior traction and performance across various terrains.
As for pricing, the Jeep Wrangler facelift is currently offered in two variants – Unlimited and Rubicon, with prices starting from Rs 62.65 lakh (ex-showroom). While it stands out in its segment, it faces competition from rivals like the Land Rover Defender.
The Jeep Wrangler facelift promises to elevate the off-road driving experience with its blend of rugged design, advanced technology, and robust performance, making it a top contender in the SUV market.
